DESCRIPTION

Today, like every day you do your Yoga Shred Sequence, you’ll use it to counterbalance your Fitness Shred without sabotaging all the work you just did. It’s too easy to think that because you’re ‘working out’ here on the mat, that means you have to go your hardest into every pose. In what will be the exact opposite of yesterday’s Shred, I encourage you to stay away from muscle fatigue, and if a pose is causing any muscle to burn, I want you to come out of it, back it off, or move into something else that doesn’t feel that way. This is a muscle-healing practice, and if you load tear-down on top of tear-down, your muscles can’t re-knit and become that sculpted, calorie-torching body that you desire. So let yourself feel and flow, cleanse and balance—without the burn.
