DESCRIPTION

This class starts with some preparatory work for backbending followed by a workshop on Urdhva Dhanurasana (Upward Bow Pose - The Wheel). We progress into techniques for standing up from backbends and drop backs. Then we move through the finishing sequence with essential tips to safely execute the Queen of Asanas in the shoulder stand series: Sarvangasana. This is followed by important techniques to strengthen the King of the Asanas: Sirsasana, the Headstand. This class will finish with and exploration of the breath in Padmasana (Lotus Pose), finishing with strength and full activation in Uttpluthi (Rising Up Pose) and finally… complete relaxation.
