Nine months ago I had an emergency appendectomy. Until then I had been able to do "banana back" handstands. No real stability or balance. I've been working on getting into better habits and slowly inching my way back into handstands. The warm up exercises and alignment tips in Patrick's handstand training have helped me to see better progress in the week I've used it, than in the last few months on my own. I feel like I have a much better understanding of the alignment necessary to feel comfortable with being upside down. The videos are lovely and easy to work into my own practice.

I LOVE his handstand plan. I was growing so frustrated with the inversion part of my practice, and his direction has helped me 100-fold. The way he focuses first on the muscles which you must build is perfect. I can feel a HUGE difference in my handstands already, because I now know how to activate muscles that I didn't even know I needed to use. Forearms, core, and pointer fingers...who would have known?! Thank you, thank you! It's a wonderful plan! Here is a picture of me practicing my pike handstand on the beach, Point Reyes.

I have seen so much improvement since going through Patrick's handstand workouts! I'm starting to see that I don't need the wall as much as my mind thinks I do... I used to just keep on trying to "kick up against that wall until you get it," but with this plan I've actually learned how to handstand! His tips and trick and practices were really helpful, and I'm starting to feel more and more stable with my handstands!
